Each session is composed of 8 half-hour lessons (Summer Session 2 is 4 half-hour lessons). Piano students should have daily access to a piano for the entire session. A full-sized (61-key) keyboard is sufficient for beginning students. Guitar students should have daily access to an acoustic guitar. AGE/SKILL REQUIREMENT: Private Piano or Guitar Lessons: 8 years old, Voice Lessons: 11 years old (Beginner & Intermediate).

Location: New Britain City Hall, Room 505

Please be advised that all users participate at their own risk and must follow the rules and regulations of the Parks and Recreation Dept. Please note 1. all programs are subject to last minute cancellations, if minimum registrations are not met to cover all program expenses, and 2. all facility reservations are subject to last minute cancellations. 3. The Parks and Recreation Department owns full rights to any type of sales at City parks including, but not limited to, food and beverage, apparel, novelties, vending, signage, etc. 4. Parks and Recreation Director has discretionary authority to refund program and facility fees. (Up to not exceeding $250, unless authorized by the Parks and Recreation Commission)
